The Forgotten Giants

When Samara joined us, Josiah had a great plan to help her get over jet lag and jump ahead the necessary nine hour difference, let’s search for the Forgotten Giants.

These are six amazing art pieces created by a local Danish Artist, Thomas Dambo, to help people explore nature and see places off the beaten path. There are no signs, but he has left a treasure map and poems to help find the enormous giant trolls. Go check out Josiah’s blog, Josiahabroad.com, or go directly to ThomasDambo.com. There are some great stories and videos I encourage you to explore. It does just make me wonder how we could bring this type of interactive creativity to our own cities

We had seen a similar work of his in Christiania after a walking tour.

We enjoyed seeing the details, like the 28 bird houses inside Little Tilde Andy the nice bench for sitting on Thomas’ leg.

Enjoy some of the photos.
